Welcome Sue Ellen Rodwick, Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies’ New Branch Manager

Sue Ellen, a Colorado native, grew up in Colorado Springs. Five years ago, she moved to Fruita and absolutely loves living on the Western Slope. The family-oriented, small town atmosphere is ideal for raising her preschool-aged son.

Sue Ellen brings nonprofit experience from managing Goodwill’s Grand Junction retail store. And she brings heartfelt compassion for WSFBR’s mission too.  “When I made the transition to being a single mom, I got help from organizations like WSFBR and the partner agencies who help feed Western Slope families,” she shares.  “Sometimes life happens.  This job is an opportunity for me to give back.”

The Western Slope branch has grown and thrived under Starlene Collins’ leadership.  Sue Ellen is excited to grow the organization into its next phase of community involvement and looks forward to collaborating with the community to help families thrive now and far into the future.
