Food Bank of the Rockies is excited to announce our participation again this year for Colorado Gives Day happening on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Colorado Gives Day is one of the largest giving events in the nation and Colorado’s biggest day of giving. Last year, more than 95,000 donors collectively donated $54.8 million across Colorado nonprofits.
Giving for Colorado Gives Day began November 1 and runs through 11:59 pm on December 9.
Thanks to a matching gift opportunity from United Airlines, all donations to Food Bank of the Rockies made on the Colorado Gives Day website will be matched through December 9 — up to $70,000! At a time when one in eight Coloradans are experiencing food insecurity, including one in seven children, this matching gift opportunity comes just in time to provide more food to our neighbors for the holidays.
With the match, a gift of $5 can provide enough food for 30 meals for Coloradans facing hunger.
