Stay-at-home and workforce reduction orders do not apply to Food Bank of the Rockies and critical emergency food distribution services.
Governor Jared Polis issued a Stay At Home Order for the state, which is in place until April 26.
Critical service providers, such as Food Bank of the Rockies, are exempt from these orders as these services are needed now, more than ever before. Food Bank of the Rockies' volunteers are exempt from this order as they are a critical part of our operations.
Food Bank of the Rockies will do everything possible to continue distributing food to people in need. We are expecting food insecurity to increase in coming weeks as many people in our community may be going without wages.
During this time, we are committed to our partner agencies and anyone experiencing food insecurity. We are also taking precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and volunteers.
We will continue to update our website with information. Find out what we're doing by checking out our Plans & Procedures page.
Helping People Thrive
Food is the foundation for a happy, healthy life.
Hunger can be found everywhere – often where you least expect it. The homeless population represents only about 10% of our food recipients. The rest? Everyday people like low-wage workers, children, seniors on fixed incomes and individuals with health issues.
We’re working to feed them all.
You Can be a Hunger Hero!
You might not think $1 can do much. But at Food Bank of the Rockies, that dollar helps provide four meals!
And we depend on volunteers to help us in the warehouse so we can get food to people who need it.
Your time and funds are greatly needed. Can you be a Hunger Hero?

Their stories may surprise you.
Distributing more than 56 million meals a year is a big number to comprehend. Behind that number are thousands of faces of people like you and me, people who need a little help. Donors don’t often get the chance to meet the people they help. Here are some of the stories of hope so you can see how your gifts make a difference.
