For the 5th consecutive year, Arvada residents Tom & Ed adorned their home with a multitude of lights for the holiday season. 37,000 computer-controlled lights synchronized to Christmas music delighted this year’s visitors.
Once again, Tom & Ed installed a donation box benefitting Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR), so people who come to enjoy the display can give back to those in need. This year they raised $4,660 –the equivalent of 18,640 meals!
Tom says, “The entire project is very labor intensive, but when we see the finished product, it’s all worth it. And when we look out the window and see the traffic and the eager faces of children with eyes as big as saucers, it gives us a nice warm feeling. In 2008 we decided that it would be an excellent idea to take donations for Food Bank of the Rockies.” Over the past three years, Ed and Tom’s visitors have raised nearly $12,000 to benefit FBR!
