We’re thrilled Boston Elementary and Paris Elementary recognized FBR and our team for the work we do to support Communities in Schools. Both elementaries partner with FBR through our Totes of Hope® weekend food program, ensuring the 280 kids in their combined programs have nourishment when school meals aren’t available.
Communities In Schools works directly with schools, building relationships that empower students to succeed inside and outside the classroom. Working directly in 2,300 schools in 25 states and the District of Columbia, Communities In Schools builds relationships that empower students to stay in school and succeed in life. The there are five schools piloting the program in Colorado. All five schools presented awards to volunteers and community organizations at an event on May 9. These are the only Colorado schools participating in this program and expansion plans are underway for more local schools to participate soon. Learn more at communitiesinschools.org.
