Community Kitchen
Write Your Letter to Senator Allard!
Food Bank of the Rockies is working to raise money for a community kitchen which would be used to prepare meals for our Nutrition Network, including Kid's Cafe. The kitchen would also be used to process fruits and vegetables for longer shelf life.

30 Years
Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope
In 1978, the Colorado Food Clearing House formed from humble beginnings. Operating from a 900-square-foot schoolroom in Northwest Denver, the fledgling organization collected food from nearby Safeway stores and distributed it to one agency. This small organization grew into Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR).
Today, FBR provides food and essentials across Northern Colorado and Wyoming to more than 1,000 hunger-relief programs.
As the need for food assistance and the cost associated in providing it both continue to grow, we cannot "celebrate" 30 years fighting hunger in our community - but we are proud and commemorate the difference we've made.
We could only do what we do with the generosity of others. Donations of Food, Funds and Time put meals on the tables of those in need.
