Schools Fighting Hunger

Hello Teachers & Day Care Providers!

Teaching children about social responsibility is an important job you do every day. Food Bank of the Rockies is thrilled to share the Kung Food Fighters Kids Club as a resource for Colorado educators and child care providers! Through our club, we provide children with activities and information that empowers them to see their potential for making a difference in the world. Hunger is often associated with third world countries and homeless individuals we see on the street.  Sadly, hunger is very real in our community and affects many more neighbors than most people realize.  Click HERE for more facts about Hunger in Colorado and how Food Bank of the Rockies helps.  HOW CAN YOUR CLASSROOM GET INVOLVED?  JOIN OUR QUARTERS for KIDS CAMPAIGN!We’ve developed the “Quarters for Kids” Campaign as a seamless avenue for teachers to raise hunger awareness and encourage community involvement among students.  Below are the comprehensive tools necessary to implement this simple and effective program in your classroom.  Every quarter raised will provide one meal for our neighbors in need!  Starting Your Quarters for Kids Campaign
