Food Bank of the Rockies distributes food boxes through our commodies program. Seniors, living anywhere in our service area, and families with children age 5 and under may qualify. Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring with me to qualify for a food box?
Please bring the following to the site:
- ID
- Proof of Address (Bill, Rent Receipt, Car Registration)
- Proof of Income (Check Stubs, Emp letter, Social Security Statement)
- Birth Certificates of everybody applying
- If Pregnant, proof of Pregnancy
What kind of food will I get from CSFP if I qualify?
Canned Meat
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruits
Cereal
Cheese
Pasta, Rice, or Potatoes
Evaporated Milk
Dry Beans or Peanut Butter
Dry Milk
Fruit Juice
What if I don’t qualify for CSFP?
You can still go to other agencies, such as food pantries, that don’t serve commodities but serve emergency food boxes. We can refer you to nearby assistance.
Do I need an appointment?
No, just walk-in to one of the sites on the aprop. Days and hours and apply (English or Spanish)
What kind of Baby formula will I get?
Nestle® Good Start™ (Sorry, no longer Enfamil®)
Do you offer delivery service?
Yes, but you must provide a Doctor’s note saying you’re homebound and can’t walk. Otherwise, you must go to the site and pick up your box.
