Food Bank of the Rockies partners with community groups and businesses of all sizes on many things from corporate giving, to events & promotions, to food drives.
Generous financial contributions keep our refrigerators and freezers running, our delivery trucks on the road and our nutrition programs operating, so we can continue Feeding Hope!
Every dollar we receive provides four meals or five pounds of food to our community. 96 cents of every dollar goes directly to food distribution. We are a 4-Star Charity Navigator and BBB Accredited charity.
If you’ve never visited Food Bank of the Rockies, please consider scheduling a time to meet with us and take a brief tour. We’d love to show you how we fight hunger in our community. Contact our Philanthropy Department to schedule your visit.

Partnerships, Cause Marketing Promotions and Campaigns
We can collaborate with you to create corporate partnerships, cause marketing promotions, or social media campaigns. Food Bank of the Rockies is a well-respected and trusted brand, making a difference for so many in our community. Collaboration helps your company gain exposure and assists our organization with needed funds to continue our mission to fight hunger.
We are also members of Feeding Colorado, a group of five food banks serving the entire state; and Feeding America, a national organization with a network of more than 200 food banks serving the entire nation. If your outreach expands beyond our community, we can work with you to take your promotion statewide or national with our sister food bank partners.
Because of the sheer volume of partnership requests, we have specific criteria for promotions. If you would like to apply to include FBR in your promotional opportunity, please download and carefully review our Giving Chart (PDF) and Promotion Application.
For more information about running a promotion please contact Kristina Thomas, Event & Promotion Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org or 303.375.5838.
Host an Event
From bake sales and jeans days, to car washes and jump-a-thons, we have community partners finding creative ways to raise needed funds for FBR.
Need an idea? We can help! Contact us to brainstorm the best way for your group to help us feed hope. Together, we can generate ideas and fun ways to make a difference and reach your desired goals for your event.
Because of the sheer volume of requests, we have specific criteria for fundraising events that will be promoted publicly using our name and logo. If you would like to apply to hold a fundraising event to benefit FBR, please download and carefully review our Giving Chart (PDF) and Event Application.
FBR reserves the right to refuse any corporate partnership (promotion) or fundraising event. If your event or partnership is approved, we will contact you with the next steps to take. We must approve marketing pieces that use the logo or Food Bank of the Rockies name prior to production to ensure the materials follows our graphic standards. This approval process happens quickly and can be conducted via e-mail.
Need a speaker? We are happy to visit with to your group – staff time permitting, and would be delighted to mention your successful fundraiser and feature your creative efforts through our social media outlets.
For more information about hosting a fundraising event please contact Kristina Thomas, Event & Promotion Manager, email@example.com or 303.375.5838.
Often, when people think about the food bank, their first inclination is to host a food drive. While this is one way to help, cash donations are preferred since we can provide about 5 pounds of food with every dollar we receive. In addition to donated products from grocers, farmers, ranchers and manufacturers, the food we do purchase is wholesale, by the truckload, just like a grocery store. Our wholesale buying power allows us to target the specific needs of our clients and partner agencies, many who are serving hundreds of prepared meals or clients with special dietary needs. We can also offer fresh, frozen and refrigerated products safely to our partners and clients.
If you do decide to host a food drive, we encourage you to also consider our virtual food drive, an easy way to securely donate online as a group or team. The virtual food drive can easily be converted to pounds so you can combine your total with your physical food drive if you decide to offer both options to your team. Learn more about food drives here.
Thank you for joining us as we fight hunger and feed hope in our community.
