30 Years Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope
Food Bank of the Rockies started from humble beginnings in April 1978, as the Colorado Food Clearing House. We distributed bread from a local Safeway Store out of a 900 square foot school house to one agency feeding people in need, Little Sisters of the Poor.
Today, FBR has extended its reach across northern Colorado and Wyoming , providing food supplies to more than 1,000 hunger-relief programs
The need for food assistance continues to grow and 30 years later, with your help, we continue to fight hunger and feed hope.
Over the past year, we've seen the cost of our purchased food, items like peanut butter, pinto beans, spaghetti and canned fruits and vegetables, soar an average of 32%. We need your help now, more than ever - with donations of food, funds and time.
